The t-shirt has become an essential part of our wardrobe, our culture and over the years become my favorite medium for my work.
Here are some of the t-shirt (& hoodie) designs that I've really enjoyed over the years!
BIaka Works has had many opportunites to design different t-shirts for different nonprofit, campaigns, bands, and businesses.

During 2009 I had the opportunity to start my own t-shirt company. After joining the Rapha House team, I had to bring one of my favorite designs with me. Originally a special fund raising shirt for Hello Destroyers, I was happy to bring it onboard to Rapha House as an official shirt in 2015!
My love for Die Hard (a christmas movie) and for team sports came together as some of my best friends and I started a softball team. We knew going into it that we weren't the most athletic or talented group; but we'd give it our best. We'd Try Hard!
Inspired by a design I saw online of the Golden Gate Bridge, I wanted to illustrate the 3 steps that Rapha House takes and sets as foundational to helping young girls recover from sex trafficking. Love, Rescue, Heal.
This was actually a redesign of the original logo that I had designed for Rapha House. After about 6 years, I decided it was time to update the logo to a smoother and more streamlined look. Included a side logo and website link to Rapha House's website.
Not the official name of this shirt, but when I designed it, I wanted to play homage to the original logo's ability to fit any palate and the upcoming summer.
Some of my favorite challenges in design are when I need to come up with a new way to illustrate or present a common concept or idea. Knowing that the client wanted something that would resemble 'roots' and growth, I went for something that was recognizable but slightly different in its presentation.
I love the layout and the elements in different sizes, incorporating their logo and relating back to a bible verse that is foundational to their organization.
One of the first t-shirts I got to design as the Creative Director for Rapha House. Inspired by motocross/paintball/punk rock culture and design. I wanted my first design to be more masculine, to encourage more men to be involved with fighting human-trafficking.
Partly inspired by an old band t-shirt I designed, part my inspiration from HXC bands DIY merch, and another part a tribute to my past intern's struggle with including a mountain on a shirt design for Rapha House.
